Ngurang – meaning nest, or meeting place in Wiradjuri language – is the name of a new performing arts rehearsal residency on Wiradjuri land near Bathurst, NSW. The residency will bring together performing artists from around the country and abroad to create new works within the natural setting of the Chifley Damn grasslands. Last year Bathurst Regional Council were successful in their bid for grant funding to deliver the project, and so we’re excited to see this one get off the ground in the coming months!
