Colour coded neighbourhoods
Flipco
Overview
Sibling's first project in Spain is a new co-working concept in Madrid. The business model of Flipco is a response to rapid changes in the way we work, how we share spaces and the availability of these in urban centres. The model looks to spread out shared work, and living facilites throughout a single neighbourhood to encourage all members to explore the local surrounds and converge into this space as the main working and social space.
Located in the Tetuan neighborhood, within a former bank building the project looks to this existing context to create a series of neighborhoods within the existing space. Colour is employed to give each space its own distinct and define different social activities that take place within the space. The various zones include, the cafe, a chill out zone, working spaces, meeting spaces, quite work zones, phone booths or zoom rooms, and private office spaces.
Designed in association with our Spanish delivery partners Fomo Architecture.
